Hognaston is a village on the southern fringes of the Peak District, close to the Carsington Reservoir. The village has two pubs and a Norman church. Just 6 miles away is the market town of Ashbourne which has narrow cobbled alleys, fine Georgian buildings, restaurants, inns and antique shops.
